FABC was founded in 1959 and has been a fixture in the West Hartford community for almost 50 years. We are thankful that our church has been faithful to the Lord and His Word during this time. More importantly, we are thankful that the Lord has been faithful to us for these many years. We would love to have the opportunity to show you the wonderful God that we serve. What to expect when you visit
FABC is a traditional, independent Baptist church. “Traditional” means we sing traditional hymns and Gospel songs, like “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art,” and we use the Authorized Version of the Bible. We hold to traditional Baptist beliefs. Because we are “independent,” we are not a part of any larger organization but are self-sustaining. However, “traditional” and “independent” does not mean “boring”! We are excited about what the Lord is doing in our church.

- Sunday school and Adult Bible Classes: 9:45 AM
- Sunday morning service: 11:00 AM
- Sunday evening service: 6:00 PM
Other services
- Midweek service: Wednesday, 7:00 PM
- Flyer’s club (for ages 2-5), 7:00 PM
- Kings’ Kids (for grades 1-6), Teens (grades 7-12) every other Friday night, 7:00 PM; please contact the church office for further information.
Other important information
- Well-staffed nurseries are available for all services.
- Sunday morning services are interpreted for the deaf; other services upon request.
- Our services last for about one hour.
- Parking is available for visitors to the left of our building on Mountain Road.
